WWAG code of conduct
- Please sign in the register on entering and leaving the Premises. This is for reasons of health and safety.
- No alcohol or illegal drugs are allowed on the premises. Any client under the influence of these will be asked to leave.
- At any wwag activity each client is responsible for ensuring that their behaviour is acceptable to all. This is regardless of any alcohol available at WWAG social occasions. Any disruptive behaviour will be dealt with and the client may be asked to leave.
- In the event of severely disruptive, abuse or dangerous behaviour, the management committee reserves the right to suspend a client’s membership immediately and indefinitely. WWAG reserves the right to refer the offending individual to the professionals responsible for their care in the interest of their health and well-being.
- Clients are responsible for the behaviour and safety of any guests they may bring onto WWAG premises (e.g. children, friends or relatives).
- Children will be allowed as visitors on any WWAG premises and activities only if accompanied and supervised by a parent. The child and their behaviour is the total responsibility of the parent. The parent and child will be asked to leave if the child’s behaviour is unacceptable.
- Client’s guests will only be allowed at the JPC Saturday Group by prior agreement. If you want a guest to attend you must get permission from the WWAG office staff by the Friday before. Guests must sign a code of conduct.
- Clients are not allowed to take mobile phone calls in the lounge. If clients receive calls they are requested to leave the lounge and show respect for others.
- All clients are welcome to use the office facilities. However office staff must be consulted before use and the policy on the notice boards must be followed.
- The corridor and stairway must be kept clear at all times. This is the only exit route. Buggies & trolleys must not be left in the stairwell.
- Respect for others is essential. Be responsible for your actions & respect yourself.
- Each client is reminded that personal property and valuables are their own responsibility at all times.
- On any WWAG outings the coach is non-smoking and no drinking of alcohol is permitted.
- Clients going against these guidelines will be brought to the attention of the management committee who reserves the right to withdraw membership if the case warrants it.
- The length of stay on the premises by a guest is at the discretion of the staff.
