To access WWAG services, referrals are required from mental health professionals such as community mental health teams or psychiatrists.

Work experience in-house to empower, build self esteem & confidence
Employment & training guidance  Creates employment opportunities through training
Provides work necessary for the operation of WWAG utilising client’s existing skills or skills gained from training
Computer training in-house: registered centre for OCR vocational qualifications and informal one to one training
Training – external course fees subsidised
Therapeutic courses including: positive thinking, life skills, self esteem & confidence building, art, drama, healthy eating 
Support and informal advocacy, befriending and self-help counselling groups
Service user Advocacy Clinic for Adult mental health clients 
24 hour telephone crisis support  Service user involvement
A place to go – a safe, friendly environment  
Social activities including: theatre, bowling, day trips, sports  
Encourages empowerment and social inclusion

To access WWAG services, referrals are required from mental health professionals such as community mental health teams or psychiatrists.

WWAG offers a supportive environment to clients in the community by providing Activity Centres. Premises with office, training and lounge facilities are available.The Walton Activity Centre is managed, manned, run and attended by people who have used or do use the mental health services, all of whom provide support, encouragement and positive advice to each other. Understanding, focussing on friendship and a sense of belonging.
